Dyslexia Intervention

SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

During the 2021-2022 school year, Cossatot River School Public Schools used the following Orton-Gillingham evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:

  • Barton Reading & Spelling System

  • Winsor’s Sonday System

  • Foundations and Sounds

56 students attending Cossatot River Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

30 students attending Cossatot River Public School District were identified as exhibiting some characteristics of dyslexia. 

SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021

During the 2020-2021 school year, Cossatot River School Public Schools used the following Orton-Gillingham evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:

  • Barton Reading & Spelling System

  • Winsor’s Sonday System

  • Foundations and Sounds

52 students attending Cossatot River Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

32 students attending Cossatot River Public School District were identified as exhibiting some characteristics of dyslexia. 

SCHOOL YEAR 2019-2020

During the 2019-2020 school year, Cossatot River School Public Schools used the following Orton-Gillingham evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia:

  • MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach

  • Winsor’s Sonday System

  • Foundations and Sounds

45 students attending Cossatot River Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

23 students attending Cossatot River Public School District were identified as exhibiting some characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2018-2019 school year, Cossatot River School Public Schools used the following Orton-Gillingham evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia: Barton Reading & Spelling System, Sonday System, Foundations and Sounds, Nessy and MindPlay.

45 students attending Cossatot River Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

18 students attending Cossatot River Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2017-2018 school year, Cossatot River School Public Schools used the following Orton-Gillingham evidenced-based programs to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia: Barton Reading & Spelling System, Sonday System, Foundations and Sounds, Nessy and MindPlay.

50 students attending Cossatot River Public School District received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

16 students attending Cossatot River Public School District were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
