Ninth grade art students enjoyed a virtual tour of Crystal Bridges Wednesday during 3rd period. Students learned about art and innovation and enjoyed a group discussion with museum educator, Will Knauer, designed to deepen critical thinking and discussion skills.

Cossatot River High School FBLA members presented Deputy Clint Bell, CRHS Resource Officer, with a donation to the Polk County Sheriff's Office Adopt a Kid for Christmas Program this morning. The donations are used by the sheriff's department to purchase Christmas gifts for kids in the Polk County area, which FBLA members felt was a wonderful way to give back to the community during this holiday season. The group is looking forward to more community service projects for the spring semester.

Cossatot River Primary will be hosting a book fair Tuesday December 13th- Friday
December 16th. Students will be able to shop each day during school. Parents are welcome to join us Friday December 16th from 3pm-5pm. Adults can add money to an e-wallet for students, or shop online starting the 13th at: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/vandervoortelementaryschool1

Game tonight! The games were accidentally left off the weekly update, but they are still on and we hope to see you there! A 7th-grade boys game has been added to start at 4:30.
CRHS will play a 7th-grade boys game tonight before the JR boys game! It will start at 4:30.
CRHS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE:
The games against Charleston originally scheduled for December 16th are moving to January 3rd to accommodate Charleston's football finals appearance. All game details remain the same.
The SR high teams were able to add a tournament during the week of January 2-7. This will be at Mineral Springs.
There was an error on this week's update. The 7th/JR teams games versus De Queen are on December 12th, not December 8th. This information has been updated on the website schedule and events page. Thank you to all who pointed out the issue so we can fix it. We appreciate it!
Mini Cheer Camp!
The Arkansas Department of Education will be hosting another SMACtalk Parent Webinar today from 6:30-7:30. Our guest is from the Attorney General Office.
