Cossatot River School District Cafeteria Staff and Child Nutrition Director were recognized last week at the September Board Meeting by Superintendent Tyler Broyles as the recipients of the Cossatot River Pride certificate. These ladies go above and beyond to make students and staff feel welcome in cafeterias across the district. They also make sure nutritious meals are served on a daily basis. Good morning! This is just a friendly reminder that the date for parent-teacher conferences is Thursday, September 16 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A school calendar is attached for your convenience. Also, our CRSD apparel fundraiser ends today! The attached flyer contains the catalog with many adult and youth options as well as details on how to order. You can also find these documents on our Facebook page and school website. Have a great day!

2020-2021 Umpire YEARBOOK PRESALE! The latest yearbooks will be ready soon! You can preorder one for $25 from August 27, 2021, until September 10, 2021. Yearbooks will be distributed after the yearbook dedication presentation planned for September 10, 2021. After September 10, 2021, yearbooks will still be available but for $30. The 2019-2021 yearbooks are still available for a new price of $15, and yearbooks from years prior to 2019-2020 (years available depend on inventory) are available for $10. Umpire fall pictures will be taken on Friday, September 3, 2021. Senior portraits will have a $20 sitting fee with Heritage Portraits, but seniors this year will have the opportunity to take formal pictures, cap and gown pictures, and casual senior pictures.

CRSD Breakfast and Lunch Menus for August 2021. Breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided free to all CRSD students this year! Did you know that breakfast, lunch, and snack is provided free to all students in the CRSD community 18 years and younger, too? Cossatot River High School Junior and Senior Trap Shooting Teams were recognized last night at the August Board Meeting by Superintendent Tyler Broyles as the recipients of the Cossatot River Pride certificate. The Cossatot River FFA Junior and Senior shooting sports team shoot through the Arkansas Game and Fish in the Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program (AYSSP).  This program promotes hunter safety, outdoor conservation, communication skills, parental involvement, and a sense of team and self worth for the students.  This past school year, CRHS placed 2nd in the Southern District as a team. Two of our students individually placed in the Southern District and in State. Five members of the Junior Team qualified for State at the West Regional AYSSP Tournament. All of these accomplishments were at the Arkansas FFA Shooting Sports Contest in Jacksonville. The Arkansas FFA also has a Shooting Sports Contest in the Fall using AYSSP rules.

District Professional Development at Cossatot River School District was a huge success!! Special guests included Thomas Pennington and PLC Coaches Jim and Elaine Best. A complimentary breakfast was provided by American Fidelity and lunch provided by Tyson. A special shout-out to Simple Simons- Hatfield, Scotty’s, The Coffee Vault, Baja Rios, The Lighthouse, and Adley & Co.for your continuous support and staff door prizes. CRSD will now be using a product called ZippSlip to submit forms such as registration, annual student information update, and student device agreements. 2022 CRHS Senior Portrait Sessions will be Monday, August 16, 2021.

Cossatot River High School will be conducting schedule changes online only from August 2, 2021 8:00 AM through August 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM. Students will not be able to change their schedule after this time. To view their schedule, students will need to log into HAC. Students will receive an email with the link to the schedule change form. Students are encouraged to complete the Sports Physical Form in advance and bring it with them on Friday, August 6.
