"This is my 6th year being employed by CRSD. I am the secretary at VES. I previously worked for the Polk County Circuit Judge/Juvenile Office for 9 years, and a local attorney for fourteen years prior to that. I have three sons. The oldest two graduated from Van Cove School. My youngest son graduated from CRHS in 2015. I have recently gotten married and between my husband and I, we have 9 children and 15 grandchildren. Our CRHS students have done well at the art show at the King School in Gillham!
WES kindergarten completed a unit over Community Helpers and Fire Safety. We ended with a visit from our local fire department with the help of SRO Russell Gibbons. A big thank you to our Kindergarten para Mrs. Rhonda Holman for helping to set up and organize this event for us!

Vandervoort Elementary is proud to announce its "Character Kids of the Month" for September. The word of the month is "Responsibility." Students were selected for exhibiting that character trait and exceptional academic effort, as well as showing overall good behavior in the classroom.
