Attention CRHS Students:
Any student needing to get personal items, return library books, and/or return anything to the school may do so Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's by calling 870-387-4200 to make an appointment.
Students will be the only ones allowed into the school. Parents and all others will be asked to stay in their vehicle in the parking lot.
Van-Cove Preschool is now taking applications for the 2020-2021 school year!
Starting Tuesday April 21st meals will be available at the Umpire campus and bus routes will continue delivery as before.
Attention Vandervoort Elementary Faculty and families: AMI packets are available now on the porch in the filing cabinets as usual. However we have other exciting news for you!
Teachers and staff will be gathering in front of Vandervoort Elementary on Tuesday, April 21st, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm to pass out AMI packets if you haven’t already picked them up. We will also hand out spring pictures and personal belongings of the students in a drive thru fashion. We will be able to wave and see all our kids! This isn't mandatory, but we would love to see a big turn out, even if just to wave and shout! Please wear PPE if you have any! So, roll down those windows, give us a shout, and a wave!
Remember, everyone must stay in your vehicles for safety.

Vandervoort Elementary Students:
AMI packets for K-4 have been completed and are in filing cabinets by the office door. 5th and 6th grade Math and Science packets will be in filing cabinets today.
Effective Immediately:
Umpire campus will not provide meals to the students until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to provide them again soon.
Effective Monday, April 13th, CRSD will only provide meals 3 days per week to children 18 and under. Meals will continue to be delivered by bus route & designated bus stops. Grab & go meals will continue to be available at the Cossatot River High School, Wickes Elementary, & Umpire campuses from 11 a.m. to noon. If you have any questions or need arrangements made, please contact Carla Harwood, Child Nutrition Director, at (479) 216-3324. We hope all of our students are staying safe & healthy. We miss all of you!

Attention CRHS Juniors!
If you collected orders for popcorn before school was dismissed, please contact the individuals you collected orders/money from and let them know that our fundraiser has been postponed until further notice.
You will also need to find out if the person would like a refund of their money, or if they would like for you to hold the order until we resume our fundraising activities. You are responsible for any money that you have collected. If the person requests a refund, please return that money to them as soon as possible (keep social distancing guidelines in mind).

Due to low participation at the Vandervoort Elementary campus and increased numbers at the Cossatot River High School campus we will not offer grab and go lunches at the Vandervoort Elementary after today. Starting Monday, April 6th, meals may be picked up at the CRHS campus from 11 to noon. We will continue to have meals at Wickes and Umpire also. Attention CRHS Seniors!
Internet access is available for all CRSD approved devices at the following locations: CRHS all three parking lots, WES parking lot west of elementary building and parking lot east of cafeteria, Umpire parking lot in front of high school building.
CRSD students at all campuses may now checkout a Chromebook to use at home for school work only. Please contact your schools administration either by phone or email to make arrangements.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for pick up from 10:30 am until noon at all locations beginning March 30th and will continue thru April 17th. Students who are on a regular bus route may have it delivered. If student is a car rider they may pick up the meals at any of the campuses. Buses will leave from the school at approximately 10:30 am to deliver the meals. Please come to the bus to get the meals.
Cossatot River High School 7th and 8th grade teams competed in the 2020 Battle of the Books competition held at the University of Arkansas- Cossatot Community College De Queen Campus on Friday, March 13, 2020. Both 7th and 8th grade teams won 1st and 2nd place honors and were presented with team medals. We are extremely proud of these students!

The Miss Cossatot River Pageant has been postponed. We will inform all participants of new information as soon as it is available.
Prom has been postponed until further notice. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
Governor Asa Hutchinson announced that all schools in Arkansas will be closed until April 17th and further action will be evaluated at that time. Education will continue thru Alternative Methods of Instruction. CRSD has the best interest of our students in mind. We will update you with information as it becomes available to us.
