All Cossatot River High School sporting events including practices and games will be cancelled until we return on March 25, 2019.
Due to an outbreak of mumps across the district, school will dismiss at 2 p.m. today and be out for the remainder of the week. We will be using three A.M.I. days for contagious disease. Parent Teacher conferences will be cancelled and rescheduled at a later time. Students will return 3/25/19 after Spring Break.
CRSD (Vandervoort Elementary campus) celebrated Read Across America the week of February 25-March 4, 2019. A contest was held to see which class could read the most books. The students read a total of 7155 books! The teacher of the winning class that read the most had to “battle” our principal, Mrs. Joiner! We also had a parade with the CRHS band leading us! A big thank you to the band and our Superintendent, Mr. Tankersley, for walking with us!
Cossatot River School District will hold a Special Board Meeting March 7, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Building.
Congratulations to CRHS seniors Jade Richardson and Kolt Richardson on being selected as the Farm Bureau Players of the Month!
Mitch Sikes, Polk County Farm Bureau Agent, presented Jade and Kolt with their special basketball awards.
Spring Break is March 18th-22nd. School will resume March 25th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are on March 14th. School will dismiss early at 2:00 pm.

The Tuesday, March 5 game against Mineral Springs has been moved to Wednesday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m.

Vandervoort Elementary Pre-K and ABC Pre-K went to learn about Dental Health at Dallas Avenue Dental Care on Tuesday February 19th.They learned that our teeth are very important and we need to keep them healthy by eating foods that are good for us and to clean them twice a day! The presenter was Felicia Maddox and was assisted by Paeton Fryar and Krista Smith.
Read Across America Week for Vandervoort Elementary
School will dismiss tomorrow, Friday, February 22nd at 1:00 pm. The Lady Eagles will be playing in the Regional Basketball Tournament. Go Lady Eagles!!
If there is anyone that wants to watch the tournament and will not be able to go, Junction City will have a You Tube Live that is called Dragon sports network.

Good luck and congratulations to the CRHS Eagles and Lady Eagles on earning their way to compete in the Regional Tournament which will be held in Junction City beginning Wednesday, February 20!
The Eagles will take on the Lafayette County Cougars at 5:30 p.m., and the Lady Eagles will match up against the Parkers Chapel Trojans at 7:00!
