The CRHS Senior Boys basketball team recognized and presented a staff appreciation certificate along with a $15.00 certificate from Scotty's to Mrs. Suzanne Kesterson for her generous support and ongoing commitment to the students of Cossatot River High School. Thank you Mrs. K for all you do!

The Cossatot River High School Music Department will be presenting their Christmas concert on December 8, 2022 at Holbert Auditorium in Wickes. The band concert begins at 6:00 pm with the choir following at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Cossatot River Primary School is proud to announce its overall school-wide Star Student for the month of November, Sophia Williams. Sophia is a 2nd grade student at CRPS. She was chosen to represent her class as the Character Student for Honesty. Sophia is a very sweet, ambitious student. She was chosen for honesty because she is always sincere in what she says and does. Sophia loves to be creative, draw, have fun with her friends, and play in snow. Her favorite subject in school is Art.

Cossatot River Primary School is proud to announce its "Character Kids of the Month" for November. The word of the month is "Honesty." The November Star Students are: (pictured front row from left to right) Emma Walston, Artemis Hagler (middle row) Hoyt Faughn, Jessie Denton, Henry Dixon, Skye Ludlow, James Johnson (back row) Sophia Williams, Rebecca Goethals, Jaxson Knop, and Adeline Strother.

No Pep Squad Practice on November 30th. We will meet an hour before game time on Monday December 5th to practice before the game. They will be performing a dance routine during this game.

Ms. Sandra Baker's high school art classes enjoyed a virtual tour of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art via Zoom today as part of the Willard and Pat Walker School Visit Program. Students were able to view artwork and engage in a question and answer session with museum educator, Will Knauer. This tour will take place again on December 7th for the other art classes.


CRES has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth based on the previous year's ACT Aspire! The campus received the following award:

BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CORRECTION: The CRHS games at Dierks are this Tuesday, November 29th.

Friday, November 18th, Sci-fi Club members enjoyed a chilly trip to visit the Viking runestone at the Runestone State Park in Heavener, OK.




The high school advanced art class enjoyed guest speaker and Kansas City Art Institute graduate, Nina Littrell, Friday, November 18th. Students learned what to expect each year if they attend KCAI, class offerings, the application process, and scholarship opportunities.

Another well-deserved ladies night for our fantastic cafeteria staff - A big thank you goes to them for working this week to prepare the Thanksgiving meals for our students and their families at each of our schools!

We would like to thank all our parents for attending the Thanksgiving Lunch at Cossatot River Elementary! We hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
