We are so proud of our CRES 5th-6th Grade Quiz Bowl team! They competed in the Mena Invitational Tournament and brought home 2nd place! 🏆📚

Umpire Jr. and Sr. Betas attended the Regional Leadership Summit in Benton, AR, a time for Leadership, Learning, & Laughter All Together. Betas built leadership skills, heard from keynote speakers, participated in challenges, and grew together as a club.

They competed in Project Proposal, Collaboration Connection, and Beta Blitz. While the Jr. and Sr. Project Proposal teams did not qualify, both divisions advanced in Collaboration Connection and Beta Blitz.

Students also enjoyed meals at Domino’s, Waffle House, and CiCi’s and spent time swimming, making memories and strengthening friendships.

🎉 Our third graders have been working so hard and it shows! They have been passing Lexia levels and making great progress. We are so proud of their dedication and effort! Keep it up, CRES students! 👏📚✨

🍎 Our Kindergarten students at CRES had so much fun learning about Johnny Appleseed last week! They made festive hats, taste-tested different kinds and colors of apples, and even charted their favorite variety. What a sweet way to learn! ❤️🍏🍎

Fall Festival week is here! Be sure to come out Friday and have lots of fun supporting these awesome Wildcats! Food and games start at 5:00, and the queen and king ceremony starts at 7:30.

If you have any items you would like to donate for Junior Bingo prizes or if you want to donate cake mixes or desserts to the Senior Cake Walk, you can deliver them to the school by noon on Friday.
We can't wait to see you!

In order to meet the Governor's plan for conservation in the schools, Cossatot River will be enhancing our Outdoor Classroom with assistance from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. As part of this effort, Reggie Fryar, Nick DePriest, and Scott Morgan traveled to Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Nature Center for Stream Team training.

🇺🇸 Our CRES kiddos went crazy for the Constitution during Celebrate Freedom Week! They showed off their wildest, wackiest socks to remind us how thankful we are for the freedoms we enjoy. ❤️🤍💙

Staff Sergeant John W. Davis of the Army National Guard visited Umpire High School for Constitution Day.

During his visit, he explained the meaning and symbolism behind the US flag. The flag’s stripes represent the original thirteen colonies while the stars represent the 50 US states. The colors also carry significance: red symbolizes valor and sacrifice, white stands for purity and innocence, and blue reflects vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

But to our Wildcats, the flag represents even more: freedom, hope, and home.

UHS would also like to give a shout out to our Army National Guard seniors: Jadan, Kelley, and Selena!
