A special board meeting will be held June 21st, in the administration building at 2:00 P.M. for the opening of bids for the ball field project.

Cossatot River High School will be offering Summer School for credit recovery. Summer school starts June 4-June 28, Monday–Thursday, 8:30-11:30. There is a sign-up sheet in the office at the High School.

A benefit chicken dinner and auction will be held for the Cossatot River Middle School Archery Team on Saturday, April 28 in the Wickes Elementary Cafeteria starting at 4:00 p.m. All money raised will be used to help the team with expenses during upcoming trip to compete in the national archery tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. To-go orders will be available. We thank you for your support!
The Wickes Middle School Straight Shooters Archery Team for grades 6-8 has qualified to compete in the National Archery Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky in May. This is a significant honor as a lot of teams never qualify! These kids have worked extremely hard and have put in tons of practice time! This is only our fourth year to have archery at WES so we are very excited to have made it to this level! This will also be the last year for three of our archers to have this opportunity as 8th graders!
Your support is GREATLY needed and appreciated! I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the Chicken Dinner and Benefit Auction THIS Saturday, April 28, at the Wickes Elementary Cafeteria.
There will be chicken, baked beans, potato salad, rolls, and dessert! The dinner will begin at 4:00 and there will be to-go trays available. The auction starts at 6:00. There will be lots of goodies that you will not want to miss bidding on!!

Van-Cove Preschool is now taking applications for the 2018/19 school year. Children ages 2 1/2 through 5 years old that do not meet the Kindergarten deadline are eligible. The fee is $60.00 a week or $12.00 a day if not enrolled full time. Applications may be picked in the Vandervoort Elementary office or you may call Sharon Sellers at 870-584-9826 if you have any questions.

Special Olympics Track and Field Event will be April 20th at the Mena football field. They are selling t-shirts as a fundraiser to help pay for expenses. Please let Nicole Evans; CRSD Special Olympic Coach, know if you want to order one. Orders are due by April 11, 2018. Make checks payable to CR Special Olympics.

CRHS Band will be having a PIZZA HUT fundraiser. On April 11, Mena Pizza Hut will donate 25% of sales and DeQueen Pizza Hit will donate 15% of sales between 6-8 to the band. The money raised will go toward the Band Assessment trip in Midlothian, TX in May.
First Annual Band Carnival will be April 14th, 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Cossatot River High School.
There will be games, bouncy house, rides and tacos. All proceeds go to CRHS band for their band festival in Midlothian, TX.
Ag Booster Club will be hosting a donkey basketball game and Indian Taco Dinner on April 6th at Cossatot River High School. Dinner starts at 5:00 with game following at 7:00. Tacos will be $5, tickets for game are $6 in advance and $8 at the gate.
