ATTENTION Students entering 8th-12th grade at CRHS in August 2019:
Career Action Planning (CAP) Conferences will be held on Monday, May 6, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the CRHS cafeteria. CAP conferences are an opportunity for parents, students, and advisors to discuss the student's future plans and match course selection to his/her goals. It is very important for parents/guardians to attend CAP conferences in order to guide their children toward the best, most informed, choices.
School attendance for Monday, May 6 is dependent upon CAP attendance. Current 7th-12th grade students WILL NOT attend school during the regular school day, but for students to be considered present for the day, they must attend their CAP conference. Conferences typically last about 20-30 minutes.
Please make every effort to attend your child's CAP conference. If you have any questions, please call our main office at 870-387-4200.
(Incoming 7th graders for the 2019-20 school year will schedule their classes at a different time, which will be announced soon through VES and WES.)

Attention CRHS Seniors!

Congratulations to our CRHS Eagles and Lady Eagles Soccer Teams who will be competing in the state tournament!

Please join the Wickes Straight Shooters Archery Team on Saturday, April 27 for a very special afternoon of archery, food, and fun as they raise money for their upcoming trip to compete in the National Archery in the Schools (NASP) Eastern National Tournament!
The team qualified to compete in the national tournament during the Arkansas State Archery Tournament back in March. This will be the second year in a row that the team has qualified to participate in the national competition.
Please come out and support this great group of Cossatot River sixth through eight grade students! Activities on Saturday will begin with a shooting skills showcase which will allow the archers to show off their shooting skills in both traditional target shooting, and some not so traditional target shooting, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wickes Elementary Gym.
At 4:00 p.m., the benefit dinner will begin which will include smoked chicken, baked beans, rolls, and all the fixings! To-go orders will be available, all food can be purchased by donation to the team. The auction will follow the dinner, with many great items to be sold.
Please spread the word about this event by liking and sharing this post! We hope to see a huge turnout of people to support these students and coaches!

A huge congratulations goes out to Lady Eagle Ashlen Gonzalez who has been selected to play in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Game! This year's All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, June 22 in Conway on the UCA campus, and and is an incredible honor for Arkansas' high school athletes.
We hope that all of Ashlen's Cossatot River family and friends can be there to cheer her on! Please watch the local papers for more information on this wonderful accomplishment!

The CRHS Choral Dept will be presenting their spring concert, On With the Show, on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:00 pm in the Holbert Auditorium in Wickes. The concert will feature songs from musicals Annie, Grease, Hairspray, and The Greatest Showman. Senior choir members will be recognized and end of the year awards will be given.

Tyson Grannis Plant team members recently raised $1500 and donated the money by the request of Rachel Norman’s family to the Cossatot River High School Choral Dept for the Rachel Norman Memorial Choir Scholarship. Rachel was a 5 year member of the CRHS Choir and choir president her senior year. The scholarship is for $500 and will be presented yearly to a senior member of the CRHS Choir going on to a 2 or 4 year university. The scholarship recipient will be announced at the upcoming concert on April 30. Pictured is Susan Brewer, CRHS Choral Director receiving the money from Tyson Grannis plant team members.
