Students in 3rd-10th grade—make sure to bring your Chromebooks fully charged on February 25th & 26th for Interim Testing!

A huge THANK YOU to Cove First Baptist for volunteering to work the concession stand at our last home basketball game. Your support and generosity mean so much to our district and our community. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put in to help make the night a success! 🦅🏀

Our CRES 5th graders are making sense of dividing decimals by whole numbers using base ten blocks! Hands-on learning like this helps build a strong foundation in number sense and problem-solving. We love seeing their confidence grow as they explore math in a meaningful way!

Ms. Laken’s Personal Finance class at Umpire has been hard at work learning smart money management! Students created budget posters using the 50/30/20 rule—breaking down needs (50%), wants (30%), and savings (20%) to build strong financial habits for the future!

**ATTENTION**

A BIG thank you to Mr. Smith for bringing his adorable baby goats to visit Umpire Schools last week! The students couldn't get enough of these cuties and were beyond excited to pet, cuddle, and show them some love. It was the perfect way to bring smiles and joy to our day!

Science fun with our Kindergarten crew at Umpire!
Last week, we did a sweet candy heart experiment! Using water, vinegar, and soda, our little scientists tested whether the hearts would float or sink.
Before the experiment, they made predictions about what might happen. Then, they explored using all 5 senses o observe the changes, and finally, they drew and wrote what they saw.
