This week, Umpire 7th and 8th graders started guitar lessons with local musician, volunteer, and Umpire parent, Levi Wilson! The students got hands-on with learning basic guitar anatomy and even started playing their first chords. We’re so grateful for Mr. Wilson’s time and talent in helping our students discover the joy of music! What a great day to be a Wildcat!

Umpire had the pleasure of hosting Brandon Burk from Rich Mountain Talent Search! He met with our 5th and 6th grade students, leading them through an insightful interest inventory to help them start planning for their future high school pathways. Brandon also shared valuable study skills tips to help them succeed now and in the years to come. Thank you, Brandon!

The Cossatot River School District is aware of many social media threats in recent days. No credible direct threat has been made to any of our campuses. We are monitoring the situation that is affecting schools across the state and nation. CRSD is following all safety policies and procedures to protect the students of our district. We work closely with the County Sheriff's offices and take all threats seriously.

CRHS students helped out the Cove Fire Department recently by washing fire trucks and doing general clean-up duties inside the firehouse. Thank you to Coach Barrett who organized the event and supervised the students. CRHS students will be looking for more opportunities to give back to local communities, so please contact the high school if you have a community service project in need of workers. (Pursuant to Act 237 of 2023, AR LEARNS, all current 9th grade students who are set to graduate in the academic year 2026-2027 or beyond, are required to complete a minimum of seventy-five (75) clock hours of documented community service prior to graduation.)
