Congratulations to Ethan Youngblood, one of 18 players chosen to represent the West 3A-6A conferences in the 2024 State All- Star Soccer game among other incredible soccer athletes from across the state. The game was played in Estes Stadium on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway on June 19, 2024. In addition to being a great athlete, Ethan is also a 2024 graduate of CRHS and was salutatorian of his class. Great job, Ethan!

The Arkansas Department of Human Services has partnered with the Arkansas Department of Education to provide summer food benefits (S-EBT) to CERTAIN households. These benefits can help families buy food to provide meals for their children during the summer and will be available on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card and can be used like SNAP benefits. Perfect Attendance! Mickey Ford, CRHS Principal, would like to recognize students Frederick Day and Riley Dunn for having perfect attendance during the 2023-2024 school year! Mr. Ford plans to reward the students for this outstanding accomplishment at the beginning of the next school year. Great job, Frederick, Riley and Madison! "Hello! My name is Josie Burke! I graduated college in December 2023 from Southern Arkansas University, and I have been teaching the past six months at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School in El Dorado, Arkansas. I am originally from De Queen, and I am so excited to be closer to home! I am getting married on May 25th to Carson Nichols. I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to teach at Cossatot River Primary School, and I can't wait to experience all of the wonderful things God has in store."

I am coming from and agriculture business background. I have 4 daughters. I have been married for 10 years. My hobbies include riding horses and reading."

I am a recent graduate of SAU in Magnolia, AR. I'm the daughter of Jim Bob and Beth Lamb of Nashville, AR. I enjoy photography, road trips, and being outdoors. I am excited to start my first year of teaching as the Umpire kindergarten teacher. I am looking forward to meeting new people and working with the students to help mold them into wonderful individuals. Go Wildcats!

Congratulations to our CRE students who had Perfect Attendance fourth 9 weeks!

Umpire will be celebrating tonight with pulled pork sandwiches for students and parents of Umpire High School before the Academic/Athletic/Club Awards Assembly. Meal service will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Umpire Gymnasium to be followed by the Athletic/Academic/Club Awards Assembly. Please come join teachers and staff as we celebrate these students.

Welcome Tanner Womack! "I am super excited for the opportunity to coach and teach here at Cossatot going into my 4th year of education. I went to Southern Arkansas University where I earned my bachelors in sports management and was part of the rodeo team. Other than my professional life I am an avid outdoorsman. I spend a big part of my time away from work hunting, fishing, and roping. Me and my fiancé Lina are also welcoming a new member to the family this year. There are many reasons for me to be excited for the coming year."

Eagles Advance to Semifinals in State Soccer Tournament! After a 2-0 win today over the Episcopal Wildcats, the Eagles advance to the semifinals of the state soccer tournament. Their next matchup will be against the Green Forest Tigers, which will be played on Saturday (5/11) in Harrison at 4:00 pm.
