At the regular school board meeting yesterday evening, the School Board voted to hire David Tollett as the next superintendent of Cossatot River School District. He will officially begin his duties on July 1. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Tollett to the CRSD Family!

Attention CRHS Juniors and Seniors! Our Herff-Jones representative, Mr. Rick Lancaster, will be on campus Friday, March 15, at 10:00 AM. He will be delivering paid orders for graduation items and rings, as well as accepting payments for orders.
The softball game scheduled for today (3/14/24) against Waldron has been cancelled due to weather.
CRPS celebrated the end of Read Across America with a wrap up assembly to recognize the top readers and the classes that read the most during the week. The top classes from each grade ( Ms. Jessica's, Mrs. Bell's, Mrs. Parker's, and all 3 second grade classes) got to pie their teachers and the top class overall (Mrs. Bell's) got to pie Mrs. Cowart! We are so proud of all the hard work that our students and staff put in to making the week great! We we also fortunate enough to be able to celebrate Ms. Tiffany's birthday by letting the students sing to her for her birthday during our assembly.

CRSD-Umpire Elementary Students welcomed Dr. Professor B. Pop today to bring the story of "If You Laugh, I'm Starting this Book Over by Chris Harris, to life. Thank you Professor, (aka Mr. Wilson), for reading and spending time with the students this morning. We appreciate you!

CRSD - Umpire celebrated 23-24 Teacher of the Year - Sonya Henegar and 23-24 Staff of the Year - Gina Thornton in a breakfast on March 7, 2024. Ms. Henegar is the elementary math teacher and Ms. Thornton serves as a paraprofessional in Special Education. We appreciate all you do for Cossatot River School District.
CRSD- Umpire recognized retired teacher, Carla Reid for her dedication and years of service. Ms. Reid retired as the Umpire Math teacher. She also served as the Umpire Principal in previous years. Cossatot River School District, students, and staff wish Ms. Reid a blessed retirement.
CRSD - Umpire Seniors Jon Antonio, Haley Carter, Baylee Carter, Abigail Cook, and Allie Rider were selected by Howard County Election Commission to participate in the election process. Seniors trained at the Carter Day Center in Nashville, Arkansas, and worked two days early voting in February. The seniors then worked the polls at Umpire and Dierks on Election Day - Tuesday, March 4, 2024. Thank you to Gary White for assisting the seniors in this process. Reminder! CRHS Spring Media Day is is Thursday, March 7, 2024!
SPRING PICTURES: Students who would like to have spring pictures made need to sign up with Mrs. Richardson in room 410. Students who have pictures made will receive a proof back from the photographer and may order photos using the proof with order form or online. There will be no retakes for this event. SPRING SPORTS
TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL PICTURES: Order forms were sent home with track, baseball, softball, and soccer participants, and should be returned with payment by the day of the pictures for those who wish to order. Additionally, sports pictures can be ordered online at a later date. There will be no retakes for this event. Order forms are available in the high school office.
SENIOR CLASS PICTURE: The senior class picture has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. We will advise the seniors of the date as soon as possible.
