Cossatot River High School Named National Beta School of Distinction

Cossatot River High School has been named a 2024-2025 National Beta School of Distinction. The school earned this recognition by increasing their club’s membership by at least 10% from last year.

National Beta School of Distinction is an honor for Beta clubs striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership and service to others. With an ongoing quest to instill these qualities in more students, the National Beta School of Distinction Award is designed to reward those schools that show an increase in membership for the current school year. This year, only 2,946 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “This national award speaks highly of your commitment to academic excellence and illustrates your dedication to preparing students for their future.”

Award recipients will receive a National Beta School of Distinction banner to proudly display as a symbol of their accomplishment. CRHS Beta sponsors are Beverly Higgins and Terry Alexander.
--
With more than 500,000 active members and 14,000 clubs nationally and internationally, National Beta has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, and fosters leadership skills. National Elementary Beta includes grades 4-5, National Junior Beta includes grades 6-8 and National Senior Beta includes grades 9-12. Visit betaclub.org for more information.

🚗 Attention Cossatot River Elementary Families🚗 Since the consolidation of our schools, we have noticed the need to adjust our car rider procedures to better ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. 👉 New Route (Morning & Afternoon Car Riders):
The new route will follow Hwy 278, turn onto South Second Street (by City Hall), continue straight on Council Drive, then turn right into the old Wickes High School/Holbert Auditorium Parking Lot. Cars will exit from School Drive onto Hwy 71. These changes will apply to both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we implement these changes. Please review the map of the new car rider route and help us keep arrival/dismissal safe and efficient for everyone. Morning drop-off begins at 7:15 and afternoon pick-up begins at 4:10. Thank you for working with us to make sure our Eagles SOAR safely every day! 🦅🩶🖤
