CRHS Students!
The finale to spirit week is happening tonight at the Homecoming Dance!
Junior high dance for students in grades 7 & 8 is from 5:00-7:00 pm.
High school dance for students in grades 9-12 is from 7:30-9:30 pm.
Dress to impress in your semi-formal attire. Tickets are $10 at the door. CRHS students only.


Students enjoy a small party as a reward for joining the 25 point club in the first 9 weeks.

Over 500 students competed in this competition. Twenty-five from Cossatot River auditioned for the region choir and 18 earned chairs. A big congratulations to Jaylie Brantley for earning 1st chair!
These choir members will be performing in a clinic and concert on November 10, in Hot Springs, AR.
Cossatot River Choirs are under the direction of Susan Brewer and Jacob Talamantez.

Hello CRSD! With our Black & Silver events kicking off the basketball season this evening, this is a friendly reminder that admission is $5 for everyone kindergarten through age 60. Also, we are looking for volunteers to work the concession stand on November 14, 28, and 30 and also January 9th and February 6th. Any parents, grandparents, etc., as well as churches or businesses, that would like to sign up are welcome. Robin Driver will have a signup board at the black and silver games or you can contact her at the high school office. We are pleased to accept debit card purchases at our events!


Cossatot River High School students participated in the 51st Annual King Art Show & Festival! Montana Higgins won 2nd place in the youth category. Jaylie Brantley won the Merit Award and also sold one of her art pieces. Other King Art Show participants included (from left to right): Saphina Zimmerman, Nyla Decasez, Charlee Fortner, Makayla Arthur, and Ethan Ashcraft.

Cossatot River FFA members Easton Johnson, Justin Bell, Bradley Wade, and Cooper Hayes competed in the Arkansas State Fair Ag Mechanics competition this week. They entered multiple projects for different divisions and represented our school well. They received grand champion in the agricultural equipment and machinery division with a bale handler as well as overall Reserve Grand Champion. They also placed fourth in the livestock equipment division with their livestock pen as well as 8th in the outdoor recreation with a fire pit and seventh place with a rocket stove.




The Class of 2024 Dessert Silent Auction and Bake Sale is happening Friday, October 20, starting at 5:00 PM in the CRHS Cafeteria! Come and bid on your favorite items baked by Barbara Frachiseur, Kim May, Nelda James, Brad Lyle, and more! Or, if you prefer to grab-and-go with your sweet treats, a bake sale will be happening as well! The seniors appreciate all of your support as they fundraise for their senior class trip and graduation ceremony expenses.


Spirit Week fun! Adam Seigrist (sr high) and Adric Willis (jr high) were the color war winners for Tuesday! Dillon Loving (sr high), Ashlyn Richardson and Kimber Hayes (jr high) were holiday winners for Wednesday.
All winners are voted on by the staff.
