Gayle Herring recently won Overall Grand Champion in the Cattleman's Choice Pen Heifer Show. She is a Kindergarten student in Mrs. Dee's class. We are all so very proud of her and her accomplishments!


It was a happy Boss's Day at CRPS!


Austin Bailey, a student at Cossatot River High School, has been named a Semifinalist for the 2024 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. For this program, 1,514 high school seniors were selected as Semifinalists from a pool of over 103,800 submitted applications from across the country based on their academic excellence, leadership, and service demonstrated in school and community activities. The Semifinalists are in the running for 150 college scholarships worth $20,000. Great job!


Mrs. Henegar's 6th Grade Math Class learned about equivalent ratios by mixing different amounts of blue and yellow water.

Ms. Tina held a competition with her PE classes at CRPS. Mrs. Tena's class was awarded the fastest class in the school. They will hold this title until the next competition, at the end of the 9 weeks.

**Attention Cossatot River Parents**


Mrs. Dee's Kindergarten would like to thank Mr. Reggie Fryar and his students in East (Education Accelerated by Service and Technology) class. They made our classroom some spacemen tools to use for our writing.



Bracyn is sharing some history with his fourth-grade class at CRE. His family has raised some sorghum stalks that they are running through an old-time sorghum mill. He brought some of the stalks to school and talked about the process with the aid of pictures.


Umpire School celebrated National Fire Prevention Week with a visit from the Umpire Fire Department and Smokey the Bear. Thank you to all the volunteers for sharing ways to keep our homes and family safe. CRSD appreciates all you do for our students.


Reminder: The CRSD Annual Report to the Public is Thursday, October 12 at 5:00 p.m. The regular October Board Meeting will follow immediately at 6:00 p.m. Note that the location was changed from the CRPS Cafeteria to the CRES Auditorium. Both meetings will be at the CRES Auditorium.
